Timeout uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to help us improve the app. TelemetryDeck does NOT collect ANY personally identifiable data.

Anonymized analytics data helps us only to: understand how the app is used, detect and fix bugs, improve performance, and test new features. We NEVER use this data for advertising, profiling, or monetization.

Anonymized analytics data is transmitted only to TelemetryDeck GmbH, whose servers are located in Europe (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Nürnberg). TelemetryDeck is GDPR compliant and never shares your data.

We NEVER sell, rent, or share any data with advertisers or data brokers.

Anonymized analytics data is retained by TelemetryDeck for a maximum of 2 years for long-term trend analysis. Since this data is fully anonymous and cannot identify you, it does not fall under GDPR deletion obligations. If you uninstall Timeout, no new data will be collected.

All communications between Timeout and TelemetryDeck servers are encrypted via TLS 1.3. Data is anonymized on your device BEFORE transmission. TelemetryDeck uses certified secure servers that are regularly audited.

Since Timeout does NOT collect ANY personally identifiable data, standard GDPR obligations (access, rectification, deletion) do not apply. You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection.
