This Privacy Policy applies to all information that Sightcore collects about you through our website app-timeout.com, the Timeout mobile application, and associated online services.
Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. We have expressly designed Timeout with your privacy in mind. We do not include advertising in Timeout and do not profit from monetizing your data. Instead, we seek to accomplish our mission by providing you with an excellent product.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We collect information about you when you create a Timeout account, use Timeout, contact us, or from other sources. The information we collect includes: your email address, your name (optional), profile picture (optional), application usage data, device and network information (browser type, IP address, operating system), and payment information (via our third-party processors Stripe and PayPal). We never collect precise geolocation information.
2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We use your information to provide and operate Timeout, create and manage your account, sync your information across your devices, send you important notifications about your account and service, provide customer support, fix bugs or errors, improve Timeout, test new features, analyze app usage to improve it, detect and protect against malicious or fraudulent activities, and personalize your experience. We never sell your personal data to third parties and do not use it for advertising purposes without your consent.
3. WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?
We only share your information with: service providers who help us provide Timeout (payment processing via Stripe and PayPal, secure cloud hosting, analytics), in the context of a merger or acquisition of our business, to protect our rights or those of third parties, to comply with laws and regulatory requirements, or with your explicit consent.
Important: We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Your trust is our absolute priority.
4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
Unless we must retain information for legal reasons, we keep your information until you ask us to delete it or until you delete your Timeout account. If you decide to stop using Timeout, you can ask us to delete your account by sending us an email at contact@app-timeout.com or by logging into your account and accessing settings.
After account deletion: your personal data is deleted from our active servers within 30 days, backups are purged within 90 days maximum, some anonymized data may be retained for statistical purposes, and data required by law (invoices, etc.) is retained according to legal obligations.
5. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
We work hard to protect your information from unauthorized access or use. Our security measures include: end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for all your sensitive data, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, TLS 1.3 for all communications, two-factor authentication (2FA) available, regular security audits by independent third parties, ISO 27001 certified secure servers, 24/7 security threat monitoring, and responsible vulnerability disclosure policy.
While no security system is completely secure, we are committed to protecting your data with industry best practices. If you discover a security vulnerability in Timeout, please contact us immediately at contact@app-timeout.com.
6. USE OF COOKIES
We use cookies to provide a better service, track Timeout usage, and address certain security issues. We do not use cookies for profiling or advertising purposes. Types of cookies we use: essential cookies (necessary for service operation), performance cookies (to understand how you use Timeout), and preference cookies (to remember your settings).
You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is sent. However, some Timeout features may not work properly if you disable cookies. We respond to browser 'Do Not Track' (DNT) signals.
7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTROLS
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, data protection laws grant you certain rights regarding your personal data: request access to your personal data, request correction or deletion of your data, object to our use and processing of your data, request that we limit our use of your data, request data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to file a complaint with a government supervisory authority.
You can update your account information at any time, unsubscribe from our marketing emails, disable push notifications, delete your account, or request an export of all your data. 8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notification. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page. We encourage you to regularly review this page to stay informed of any changes. Changes are effective as soon as they are published on this page.
