Terms of Service

Timeout is a task management and productivity application that helps you organize your work, track your projects, and improve your efficiency. The Service includes features for multi-device synchronization, team collaboration, and integration with third-party tools.

Timeout is currently available exclusively on Android. We reserve the right to add or remove features, modify the Service, or make it available on other platforms in the future.

Account Creation: To use Timeout, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password, or by signing in via Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Your Responsibilities: Your right to access and use Timeout is personal and you may not allow others to use your account. You agree not to (i) use robots, scripts, or automated tools to access Timeout; (ii) post or transmit content containing viruses or malicious elements; (iii) attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer Timeout software; or (iv) use Timeout for illegal or fraudulent activities.

Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at contact@app-timeout.com or through your account settings. After deletion, all your data will be erased from our servers in accordance with our Privacy Policy, unless we must retain it for legal reasons.

Timeout is available as a mobile application on Android. You will need to download, install, and maintain the application on a compatible device. You are responsible for all fees associated with your use (Internet connection, mobile data, etc.).

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING: (i) THE AVAILABILITY OF INTERNET OR TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES TO ACCESS TIMEOUT; (ii) ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, OR SECURITY INTRUSION OF YOUR TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES OR DEVICE; (iii) ANY DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES OR FAILURE TO TRANSMIT DATA RELATED TO TIMEOUT.

Timeout offers a free plan with basic features. The Timeout Pro subscription (€4.99/month) unlocks premium features like unlimited storage, custom themes, and advanced offline mode. Payments are processed via Stripe or PayPal and are billed monthly or annually based on your choice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be granted for partially used subscription periods. We reserve the right to modify our prices with 30 days' notice.

Timeout and all associated intellectual property rights (trademarks, logos, software, design) are and remain the exclusive property of Sightcore. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in Timeout, only a limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store via Timeout (your tasks, projects, notes, etc.). By using Timeout, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We are constantly working to improve Timeout, which means we may add, remove, or modify features. We may also temporarily or permanently suspend or discontinue Timeout. We may take these actions at any time, for any reason, without notice.

We may also modify these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notification. Changes will apply going forward and, unless otherwise stated, amended Terms will be effective immediately. By continuing to use Timeout after notification, you agree to be bound by the new Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account and your right to use Timeout at any time and effective immediately if you violate these Terms or for any reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your account and right to access Timeout will terminate immediately.

We will have no liability to you for any termination of your rights under these Terms, including termination of your account. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through settings.

TIMEOUT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL SIGHTCORE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
