Last updated: February 15, 2026
Welcome to Timeout!
Timeout is an Android launcher application developed by Sightcore. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Timeout application.
By using Timeout, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Timeout. You must be at least 13 years old to use this application.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY USING TIMEOUT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THESE TERMS. For any questions: contact@app-timeout.com
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Timeout is a minimalist Android launcher that allows you to launch your applications with optional time limits. All features work locally on your device. No creation of user account is required or offered. No authentication or data synchronization exists.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuation.
2. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree to use Timeout in accordance with all applicable laws. You must not: attempt to hack, disrupt, or undermine the security or integrity of the Service; transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code; resell, rent, or commercially exploit the Service without permission; or reverse-engineer the source code without authorization.
Timeout is free and without accounts. If we detect abuse (hacking attempts, distribution of modified versions), we reserve the right to take legal action.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property rights to the Service, including source code, design, user interface, and the Timeout logo, are the property of Timeout or its licensors.
Since Timeout does not store or process your content (all features are local), you retain all rights to your data. We do not have access to your app usage data or your timers.
4. CHANGES TO THE TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. If we make significant changes, we will post the new Terms at app-timeout.com/terms. The update date is shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use Timeout, you accept the revised Terms.
